All parents using their 15 or 30 hours Early Years Entitlement funding will be charged a weekly consumables fee inline with the DfE guidelines. The DfE have stated that,
“Government funding is intended to deliver 15 or 30 hours a week of free, high quality, flexible childcare. It is not intended to cover the costs of meals, other consumables, additional hours or additional activities. Parents can therefore expect to pay for these things.”
We charge £6 per week for children attending 15 funded hours and £12 per week for children attending 30 funded hours.
This is not an optional charge.
If your child is entitled to Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) money then you will not be charged the consumables fee. Please see management to find out how to apply for EYPP.
