What do I do if my child is poorly?

Please log your child as absent on you Famly account giving the reason in the space provided.

 

Children who have sickness and/or diarrhoea cannot attending nursery for 48hours after the last episode of either sickness and/or diarrhoea.

 

Children with a rash based virus such as chicken pox need to be rash or spot free before they can return to nursery and must be well in themselves.

 

Children with infectious skin conditions such as impetigo need to be clear from the condition.

 

Children who display COVID-19 symptoms (listed below) must self isolate immediately and take a PCR test before they can return to nursery.

Who can collect my child?

Only people named on your Famly account can collect your child. They will need to have their pincode to collect which can be found on their Famly account.

What do I do if I want to make a change to my child's sessions?

We need notifying of any changes in writing 6 weeks from the start of a half term before you wish the changes to take place. An online form is available on our website in ‘Parents’ section.

What do I do if I do not want my child to attend Peekaboo any longer?

We require half a terms (6 weeks) written notice from the start of a half term to inform us your child will be leaving the setting. An online form is available on our website in ‘Parents’ section.

 

If you are using the 30hours funding, we require a terms notice (12 weeks). An online form is available on our website in ‘Parents’ section.

Can my child attend nursery when on medication?

A new medication must be administered for at least 48hours before your child can attend nursery. A medicine form must be completed so that medicine can be administered at nursery. This must be completed at least 24hrs before your child returns to nursery. This form can be found in ‘Parents’ section on our website.

 

Children on long term medication are welcome to attend nursery as normal. A long term Medicine form must be filled in and the medication must stay in setting at all times. This form can be found in ‘Parents’ section on our website.

 

We will not administer any medication that is not prescribed for your child by a doctor or pharmacist.

When and how do I pay my invoice?

Invoices are available on your Famly account around 20th of the month. They are to be paid by the 1st of the month via BACS. We do not accept cash or card payments. If your invoice is not paid by the 5th of the month, your child will not be able to attend and 10% interest will be added each day until the invoice is paid in full.

 

You can use childcare vouchers from your employer or the government. Please see management to arrange this.
