When do we go?
We go out on trips on a regular basis and as the weather gets warmer we try and spend most of our time out exploring. Some trips are reorganised and some trips are spontaneous trips to the park to enjoy the wonderful weather.
What safety precautions are taken?
- Adult to child ratio is upheld at all times
- All staff are paediatric first aid trained and first aid kits are taken on each trip
- A mobile phone is taken
- Children who are 2 years old wear a safety strap on their wrist
- All children wear high visibility vests and ID badges with the setting name and phone number on
- All locations are risk assessed before and on arrival
Can my child attend Peekaboo if I do not want to give permission for them to go out of the setting?
Unfortunately it is not possible to attend the nursery if you do not want your child to be taken out of setting. If you would like to discuss the outing policy in more details, please contact the nursery at [email protected]
